Wuthering Waves Version 3.6 launches today with Qingxiao, Jingran and major performance improvements

Wuthering Waves Version 3.6, Lamplight in Mirage, Sword's Resolve in Heart, launches today across iOS, Android, PC and consoles. Kuro Games is advancing the main story with Chapter IV Act III and a new segue chapter while adding five-star Resonators Qingxiao and Jingran. New weapons include Glint of Clouds and Thousandfold Deliverance, while combat expands through the Calamity Effigy Echo and a new Tactical Hologram encounter.

Several limited-time activities accompany the update, including co-op combat, exploration and login events. Version 3.6 is particularly important on mobile because Kuro is also rolling out broad optimisation and underlying development changes intended to improve performance across supported platforms. Wuthering Waves remains one of the most graphically demanding open-world RPGs available on smartphones, making frame-rate consistency, heat and battery consumption as important as new characters.

The update went through scheduled maintenance earlier today, with compensation provided to eligible players. For established Rovers, August 20 begins another substantial content cycle; for returning players, Version 3.6 provides a convenient point to revisit the game's fast, parry-heavy combat.
