Princess Connect Re:Dive Reveals Uma Musume Collaboration With Gold Ship, Almond Eye and Halloween Rewards

Cygames has revealed extensive details about an upcoming crossover between Princess Connect! Re:Dive and Uma Musume: Pretty Derby, bringing two of its popular mobile RPG franchises together for an appropriately chaotic celebration. The new information was presented during a special livestream on October 17 and published in an industry report on October 18. The collaboration begins on October 31 at noon Japanese time and runs until November 23 at 4:59am JST.

Its central attraction is a new story event called Great Dash! Princess Derby: Magic, Fire, Sea and Sky! The storyline transports Almond Eye, Lucky Lilac, Daring Tact and Gold Ship into the fantasy world of Princess Connect. Unfortunately, Gold Ship apparently cannot resist creating trouble. After bringing the other characters into the virtual world, she mysteriously disappears and is eventually discovered in a rather unusual condition.

Players will work alongside familiar Princess Connect characters to investigate the situation. Gold Ship can be recruited through participation in the collaboration event, while Almond Eye will appear in a limited-time character recruitment campaign. Lucky Lilac and Daring Tact are also confirmed as collaboration characters. Additional promotions include a login campaign awarding 1500 Jewels on the first day, character-development missions and increased rewards from selected activities.

Players can also collect materials required to strengthen Gold Ship to five-star rarity. The collaboration demonstrates how established mobile franchises can attract renewed attention by combining recognisable characters with exclusive stories and rewards. It also creates an interesting cultural collision between fantasy adventurers and anthropomorphic racehorses. Whether the residents of Landosol are prepared for Gold Ship is another question entirely.
